I have grown up in a very artistic family
and enjoyed drawing since I was a young child.
I remember winning art contests and always received instructions from my
mother, one of the finest artists I know.
It was an honor and a pleasure growing up with such talent that was
passed on from generation to generation in our family. I have never received professional training
and therefore consider myself a self-taught artist, who enjoys working with
pencil, charcoal, acrylics as well as other mediums. Pencil had been my primary medium and I have
specialized in pet portraits for many years, although I enjoy drawing other
subjects as well. Abstracts and color
are also very appealing to me.
I enjoy exhibiting my work in the Del Mar
Fair Fine Art Exhibit and have received their Honorable Mention Award as well
as People’s Choice Award in the past. I
exhibit at Street Fairs when possible and desire to have my own, personal and
professional art studio in the future.
